Golf Lesson 6

LESSON 6: HOW TO VISUALIZE

Michael Jordan on visualization:

“When I got into those moments [with the clock winding down and I have to hit the game winner], I wasn’t nervous because I had been here already, by just playing games with myself. Seeing it in my mind. The game slows down, and the moment becomes the moment.”

PRO-TIPS

Pro-tip #1: Remember VAK + E when you visualization. The main senses you want to use are visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. What you see, hear, and physically feel. Emotion means to feel calm, confident, and concentrated.

Pro-tip #2: Maybe at the beginning of a visualization, you can even add the smell of the grass or flowers. Also, adding the sound of a bird or two can make the visualization more realistic!
